Mental Health Therapist

Sophie is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate and works as an adult mental health therapist at The Oaks. Sophie obtained her Bachelors of Science in Public Health from Western Kentucky University in 2023. Sophie then obtained her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Kentucky University in 2025.

Sophie has experience working with a wide array of individuals from working in private practice and therapeutic foster care. She has worked with people across the lifespan but her primary interest is working with young and older adults. She has experience with anxiety, depression, life changes, relationships, trauma, boundary setting and other mental health challenges. Her experience and passion in Public Health also lends to a holistic perspective of how overall health and wellness can affect our mental health. Sophie utilizes a variety of approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered, and other approaches to ensure her clients are reaching their therapy goals.
