If severe mental illness has made you feel like you’ve lost yourself, I want you to know that purpose and passion for life are still within reach.
Hi, I’m Angie Murray. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are in life, build on your strengths, and help reduce the symptoms that have been weighing you down. I believe your treatment should be as unique as you are, which is why I pull from a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques rather than a single method — so our work together is truly shaped around you.
As Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program Director here at The Oaks, and with over 12 years of experience in mental health and substance use disorder counseling, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people of all ages, though my particular passion is helping adults living with severe mental illness build a more fulfilling life. Clients often tell me they feel truly accepted and understood in our work together, and that my “outside the box” approach makes therapy feel engaging and even fun, not just clinical. We regularly see people who had almost given up on themselves rediscover purpose, self-belief, and a real passion for life through our Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program.
Wherever you’re starting from, a more fulfilling life is possible. I look forward to helping you find it.
