Kate Seeley, M.Ed, LPCA

Mental Health Counselor

“If you’ve ever felt like the world wasn’t built for the way your mind works, I want you to  know you’re in the right place.”

Hi, I’m Kate Seeley, a professional counselor with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals across a variety of settings, including private practice, residential treatment, and Community Living Supports. My passion is providing compassionate, evidence-based care that’s tailored to exactly who you are — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

I work with clients across the full spectrum of mental health concerns, and I have a particular passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also have extensive experience helping people with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences. I understand that navigating the world with a different neurotype can bring its own unique challenges, and I want you to feel truly understood, not just accommodated. While I draw on a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet your individual goals, my primary modality is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to help you build practical, everyday skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness — so you leave our work together with real tools, not just insight.

Above all, I’m committed to a person-centered approach built on authenticity, acceptance, and collaboration. I believe meaningful healing begins in a safe, supportive relationship, where you can explore your challenges, celebrate your strengths, and work toward the lasting growth you’re looking for.

You deserve to be understood exactly as you are. I look forward to working with you.

“I love to help motivate clients to reach their own potential. Instilling hope and believing in someone else is powerful. We all deserve kindness and understanding. All clients deserve unconditional positive regard and the chance to grow in a safe environment.”
